Voters in Kosovo go to the polls for parliamentary elections.

Frustration is running high.

Voters are unhappy about rife corruption, mass unemployment and poverty in Kosovo since it declared independence in 2008.

"If there are changes for sure there will be improvements, but if we continue with the same people I don't see any future."

Former rebel Prime Minister Hashim Thaci is hoping to win his third term in office.

But he is facing a challenge from three other political parties.

The results are expected to be close.

If voters do choose Thaci, he'll not only have to deal with Kosovo's numerous economic issues, he'll also have to face a war crimes investigation that threatens to ensnare many of his former comrades in arms.
