At Eden Gardens Kolkata yesterday, atleast five people were injured in a stampede including women and children who were almost suffocated to death.This happened outside Eden Gardens at the felicitation of IPL-7 winners KKR as the police tried to contrl the crowd which was in lakhs. When the chief Minister Mamata Banerjee realised her inabilty of organising this mega celebration in a hurry and failure she said, “From the next time we will try to organize such functions at the Brigade Parade Grounds.”
