From Chak De India to Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Bollywood's fondness for sports is already being exploited since years down the line! So, new to join this energetic bandwagon is none other than ace filmmaker, Sanjay Puran Singh! Yes! Sanjay, who had initially made a sports based film titled, 'Lahore' is now keen to replicate the 1983 Cricket World Cup Win of India on the silver screen. In fact, that's not it! Making this thread even more exciting, sources suggest that the 14 players who were originally a part of the Indian cricket team's historic win, too will be a part of this screen adaptation. Now isn't that awesome? While cricketing legends such as Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar, Ravi Shastri and Mohinder Amarnath, among others, will be providing their valuable inputs to the film-makers, we hear that the ambitious director Sanjay Puran Singh has already started his talks to begin the project sometime soon. Whoa...we can't wait to relive the historical moment, how about you? Sound off in comments!
