Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle has revealed he is not doubtful that his side will have a bright future as long as they can manage to avoid relegation at the end of the season.

After a poor start to the season Bolton Wanderers are in a tight spot as they look to avoid the drop zone at the end of the term. While they are currently out of the bottom three, having won their last fixture against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday, they are still in danger of being relegated.

Their fate depends on their next couple of performances in the English Premier League, all of which equally have the potential to make or break their season. The Trotter's boss Owen Coyle revealed he had always been optimistic about his side's chances of survival.

Coyle said while speaking to reporters:

"They're all pulling together, they all want the same thing and that's for Bolton to remain in the Barclays Premier League.

If we had lost that game, QPR would have been five points ahead of us. As it is we leapfrog them and they're due to play the top six clubs in the country in the last 10 games so we know there's tough fixtures for everybody out there. We have to make sure we're ready to capitalise on ours and I believe we truly are."

The Scottish manager was proud of his side's display against Queens Park Rangers, with Darren Pratley and Ivan Klasnic scoring for their side. Djibril Cisse's equaliser after half time failed to secure a draw for his team as they lost to Bolton Wanderers.

The win was a big one for Bolton Wanderers and defender Sam Ricketts revealed that the game had been really close, especially with the referee not having awarded Queens Park Rangers a goal in the 19th minute. Clint Hill's header seemed to cross the line but Ricketts did not feel it had changed the game significantly.

He said:

"It would have made a difference them getting the first goal but they got one in the second half that was offside so in a roundabout way it sort of evens it out."
