Peter Langner presented his Spring Summer 2015 bridal fashion show collection, titled "Concert in White", at The Academy Mansion, located at 2 East 63 Street in Manhattan, on April 12, 2014 during New York Bridal Fashion Week.
The designer played with dramatic silhouettes, eye-catching, textured patterns and bursts of color in his bridal fashion as well as deep, rich jewel tones in his special occasion pieces, in a lightness and floral mood, all made in soft and precious material such as organza, linen and crepe silk to create gowns rich in character, using Chantilly and macrame lace in unconventional ways.
The bridal collection is composed by twenty-two bridal gown and eleven evening dresses.
The amazing white dress that opened the runway show was a sleek and elegant mikado gown named Tilda, with asymmetric cut and draping in the back train. Material is stitched and folded diagonally across the bodice to create very subtle geometric shapes. This effect is a bit more visible and intriguing in the back of the gown with a deep v-shaped back, and asymmetric stylized train. The second to last gown was a real gem named Rania. It is an embroidered lace ball gown with full illusion tulle skirt, and matching bolero. Details on the lace were intricate and gorgeous, while the bolero added extra femininity and romance.
