As a part of the overall Vodka Experience auctioned live at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital Gala, the best of the Food and Beverage circuit came together to create something phenomenal. The evening began with Oakvilleā€™s John Vellinga- Founder and President of Slava Ultra Premium Vodka ( http://www.slavavodka.com/ ), entertaining the group with a Vodka tasting and fascination exploration of the world of Vodka. Followed by Chef Massimo Capra, as he prepared his culinary taste of Italy- with Slava Vodka in a few of his dishes. The cheese used in the appetizers prepared by him was ripened with Slava Ultra Premium Vodka for a period of 60 days. This experiment led to inspire people to break conventions and tryout the unconventional pairing of Vodka and Cheese. It was conducted by Afrim Prisitine of Cheese Boutique, who was selected as the winner of Top 30 under 30 by Ontario Hostelry Institute.
