Several passengers in the Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk on Thursday (May 22) were injured after the bus they were riding in drove over a gushing hot water pipe.
Amateur video of the scene showed that the pipe created a geyser, which sent scalding water pouring through the bus.
Rescuers guided passengers from the bus, hopping from time to time in the hot water that filled the street.
Russian news agency RIA Novosti reported an investigation was underway into the incident in which nine passengers were injured, seven of whom received burns.
