Bombings kill at least 118 in central Nigerian city of Jos

This market place was crowded with people when the first explosion ripped through the business district in Nigeria's central city of Jos.

....About 30 minutes later, this video captures the moment the second blast was detonated at a hospital nearby, killing rescue workers, who had taken the wounded for treatment.

These areas were targeted in the afternoon, killing more than 100 people. Most of them women.

And it's feared more bodies still lie under the rubble of buildings.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack but Boko Haram militants are prime suspects.

The Islamist extremists are still holding more than 200 schoolgirls.

The government says it's committed to winning the war on terror.

If this is once again the work of Boko Haram, it shows the Islamist group's determination to not only expand its domain but also to prove it can strike where it wants.
