Al Jazeera spoke to Seema Chishti in New Delhi, a journalist from the Indian Express, who says that the usual electoral divide between rural and urban areas has been nullified by Modi this time around.
She says that his campaign team has managed to carry his message across both areas. But Chisthi says there's a north and southern divide as BJP has done extremely well in southern states, which was not expected.
