A bar’s surveillance footage recently captured an unbelievably cold-hearted crime. A man named Larry Lotter had been having a few drinks at The Rock Bottom Bar in Williamson, Illinois when suddenly he felt a sharp pain in his chest.

Right away, it was clear something was very wrong, as Lotter fell to floor. Friends and fellow bar patrons surrounded him in an effort to help.

One of the people who hovered over him and appeared to be concerned was a male named Bryan Kuegler. Emergency crews were called and as EMT’s started to arrive at the business, Kuegler allegedly grabbed Lotter’s wallet from his pocket and placed it into his own pants.

He then went into the bathroom, swiped two 50 dollars bills and returned to the bar where he tossed the wallet on the floor. According to one patron, he tried to use some of that money to buy the girl Lotter had been with a drink.

Kuegler, who has a lengthy criminal history, has since been arrested for the crime and is facing a charge of felony theft from person. Doctors have been able to confirm Lotter did not suffer from a heart attack. It may be possible that the accused put something into his drink.
