Reem Acra opened her bridal show with a fun performance by a talented group of hip-hop dancers. It was pure entertainment, even if it had nothing to do with the gowns that followed — a mix of the sexy, classic and trendy. "I spend so much time studying the bride," Acra said backstage, adding that she makes sure to offer something for every type. Silhouettes included columns, traditional ball gowns, flattering fit-and-flares and a sweeping circular style in cascading chiffon. Known for her intricate embroideries, Acra also played with beautiful appliqués, reembroidered lace and crystal and pearl embellishments.
