Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) has started contacting various opposition parties in a bid to increase pressure on the federal government regarding implementation of its charter of demands. PTI chief Imran Khan held telephonic conversation with Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leaders Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Chaudhry Pervez Elahi. PTI delegation comprising Makhdoom Javed Hashmi, Shah Mehmood Qureshi and others will meet Chaudhry brothers in Islamabad on Wednesday. The political leaders will consult future course of strategy in the meeting. During May 11 protest against alleged rigging in last year general election, Imran Khan sought the reconstitution of Pakistan s election commission into a strong and independent institution.
