Some team cyclists were training for the Giro d’Italia race in Belfast on Friday, May 9, when one had a nasty fall. They were cycling at speed up the Sydenham Road near the Odyssey Arena in the city, when one appeared to strike a bollard, coming off his bike. His team pulled up in a car straight after, coming to his assistance. The cyclist appears to be merely bruised and is able to move. Friday was the opening day of Giro d’Italia in Belfast.
