http://www.wisconsin-owi.com/your-dui-owi-case/seven-key-factors/ - Many people believe that if a blood test or a breath test comes back over the legal limit, then the defendant must be guilty. Many times, the case is still worth fighting, as the tests can be wrong. Breath tests can go wrong due to the quality of the equipment or the person administering the test. Physical conditions of the accused can interfere with an accurate assessment, as well as more simple causes like simply belching within twenty minutes before the examination.

Blood tests also have problems due to the sheer volume performed in the state of Wisconsin. Whether the problem is due to a non-sterile environment, not testing the sample within a specified freshness date, or any number of other reasons, even blood tests can go wrong.
