If you’re a fan of eye-catching architecture, there’s no better place to go than Shanghai. In Jinshan district's Fengjing Water Town rests the newly constructed ‘Upside Down House’.

As you might be able to guess, everything is upside down. Looking at the exterior, guests can see that the house rests on its roof, while the foundation points towards the sky.

Taking a peek indoors, that same theme is carried out in every room. The shower head points to the ceiling, the toilet rests close to the ceiling while the seat faces the floor.

All the furniture - tables, chairs, beds and even the knick knacks are attached to the ceiling, making guests look up to admire everything the unique home contains. The house, which is situated in an art village, is open to tourists and locals who are looking to check out something unconventional.

Since it recently opened, the house has been a successful, bustling attraction. Ticket prices are a little under $5.

The director of the art village stated "There is a chance that some people will become dizzy when they’re inside the house, so in the interest of safety we have set a limit of 20 visitors at any one time."
