In the year 79 AD the ancient city of Pompeii was destroyed when Mount Vesuvius erupted. Fast-forward to 2014 and the ruins of Pompeii face a new challenge. UNESCO is warning that the World Heritage site is collapsing even further. In light of the emergency, the European Union has launched an ambitious restoration project. But as our team reports, there are fears it may not be enough.
