At least two people were killed when tornadoes struck communities clustered on the borders of Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma on Sunday, April 27. A tornado moved eastward from Quapaw, Oklahoma, where at least two people were killed, causing further damage in Baxter Springs, Kansas, and passing near Joplin, Missouri.
