South Africa's first multiracial elections took place on April 27th, 1994. As part of this transition to democracy, the Truth and Reconciliation Commission was set up to bring justice to those who suffered under apartheid. But what success has this process had? And what does it mean for South Africans who have been unable to close this terrible chapter in their lives?
