Uruguayan football players Edinson Cavani (PSG) and Luis Suarez (Liverpool) are considered today as two of the best players in the world. And they have quite a lot in common: the two of them are 27-year old strikers, born in Uruguay, the small 3-million person Latin American country, and from the same town of Salto in the northwest. As the World Cup quickly approaches, Salto remembers with pride the early life of the two “Salteno” players who have gone to become international football stars.
