Shortly after midnight on a recent Monday, a burglar hit up Panchero’s Mexican Grill and he or she chose to wear a box over their head.

Some criminals go to elaborate lengths to make sure every single feature is disguised perfectly. Another breed of them just make do with what they can find.

That’s exactly what one person in North Dakota did. Shortly after midnight on a recent Monday, a burglar hit up Panchero’s Mexican Grill and he or she chose to wear a box over their head.

Surveillance footage captured the strange suspect walking through the business holding the large, presumably cardboard box in place to ensure facial features weren’t exposed to the camera. Then the burglar slowly waltzed towards the back of the business and a little while later walked right back.

Unfortunately the burglary wasn't noticed right away. It was discovered later when an employee saw that someone had thrown a rock through the door.

According to the restaurant owner, the burglar used the rock to smash the glass and reached inside the opening to unlock the door.

The police are currently searching for the suspect. Oddly, nothing was taken from the business, but there was approximately $1,000 worth of damage to the door.
