First Children's Embassy in the World Megjashi conducts a range of activities as part of the Partnership for reconciliation through early childhood development and education in Europe - PRECEDE funded by the European Union . It is planned, As part of this program, piloting of two handbook for preschool children . The first handbook " We respect diversity" of Croatian authors Danko Butorac and Zrinka Ostovikj is didactic material for teaching and working in institutions for education of children and is designed for working with children from 3 to 10 years , and their parents . According to the authors , This handbook for respecting diversity , should help for improving positively experiential learning differences and is created on the basis of pilot project " box on diversities " which is implemented from 2010-2011 in kindergartens in Senj , Otočac and Gospic in Croatia. The second manual , " International Handbook for educators who work with young children in post-conflict regions " is derived as a result of a three-year project under the program PEACE III, and the network managed by Early years - Organization for young children in Northern Ireland and the International Centre for Education and human resources includes specialists for young children , teachers , tutors and professors of universities from the conflicted and post-conflicted regions around the world .
According to the planned activities, the piloting of these manuals will be performed in three months in four different kindergartens in the country. For more detailed knowledge for the first stated handbook " We respect diversity" as well as for the other details related to the piloting of this manual
PRECEDE general objective is to support civil society influence over reconciliation process and cohesion through education in early years in the Balkan region and Europe. It will develop a sustainable Balkan Region Network of civil society organisations concerned with young children and promoting acceptance of others and respect for diversity; develop sustainable country level networks of civil society organisations promoting acceptance of others and respect for diversity through early childhood education (ECD) in the Western Balkan region countries; and will link country level networks and the PRECEDE Network of civil society organisations with the International Network for Young Children in Conflict and Post-conflict Countries
The progremme will be inmplemented during the next two years. In thios period different activites will be caried out such as: Research, analysis, training, capacity-building for research, monitoring and analysis, development and implementation of regional and country level advocacy strategies, advocacy tools development and implementation; Analysis of the available programmatic
