One of the early "Vistories" by brilliantly innovative Stonewall Studios and its videographer-in-chief, Tom "Teejaysang" Salter of Niagara, Ontario. Stonewall Studios has garnered well over two million views on Daily Motion and other video sharing sites in less than a year, and a look at TJ's work here shows why. The video combines two versions of the song "Chilly Winds" that was written in 1962 by singer-songwriter John Stewart (then of the Kingston Trio, whose version appears first) and the late John Phillips (then of The Journeymen folk group but soon to found the Mamas and the Papas).
The video images follow Stewart and the Kingston Trio through several phases of their careers, including pictures from World Folk Music Association tributes and Stewart's Trio Fantasy Camp, as well as depict Tom's touching visual interpretations of the lyrics. We of the current eponymous folk group, whose images appear toward the end and to whom Stonewall Studios dedicated this video, are flattered and grateful beyond expression to have so stunning a work created about our favorite song.
