Leader of Opposition in Sindh Assembly & leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Faisal Subzwari said that Pakistan Protection Ordinance (PPO) is a black law in the name of democracy.
Faisal Subzwari also said that Taliban militants are being released whereas common people are being arrested.
Faisal Subzwari said, “MQM already submitted the resolution against PPO Bill but this could not be brought in House today, as the session was early adjourned.”
We would bring this resolution again in the next session when House would meet on Monday, he told journalists.
It should be noted that Pakistan Protection Ordinance has come under fire from the opposition parties as well as human rights groups as its clauses are being labeled as "inhuman".
