This is a great little speaker for using pool side, or anywhere else you want to listen to music where water might be involved. Usually you'd risk damaging your audio equipment handling it with with wet hands. Or you may chance ruining your electronics taking them along somewhere that they might get splashed on, or damp from water. With this Pyle waterproof speaker, those are no longer worries. Whether it's water splashing from the pool, being stuffed in a beach bag with wet towels, or being knocked into the bathroom sink with the water running, this speaker can handle it.

There are thick rubber gaskets that cover each of the charging ports. These help keep water and moisture out and protect the speaker. I've doused water on this a few times just to test out how waterproof it is, and it has kept working without any issues.
