What is MAC Address?

In a local area network (LAN) or other network, the MAC (Media Access Control) address is your computer's unique hardware number.


How to Find Mac Address of your Computer on Windows 7 ?

1st Method:

► Press Window key+R on your keyboard and it brings up a little run window ,Type "cmd" without quotes in that windows and it brings up command prompt window ,typs "getmac" without quotes command and you will get your compter's MAc address.


2nd Method:

► Press Window key+R on your keyboard and it brings up a little run window,Type "ncpa.cpl" without quotes in that window and it brings up a window where you can see all your network connections and than double click on your connection and there you can see physical address,Physical address is another name of MAC address.


3rd Method:

► Go to start and click on control panel,click on "view network status and tasks" and there you can see your connection ,ust click on your network connection and there you can see physical address,Physical address is another name of MAC address.
