STORY: Britain's Prince Harry on Friday (April 4) visited the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the site of the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, ahead of its official opening to the public. The 29 year-old British royal, who was joined by London's Mayor, Boris Johnson, met local school children at a new riverside play area, joining in the fun by climbing on a large swing to the delight of the children. The park, which is due to open to the public on Saturday (April 5), has undergone a major conversion since it closed for development some 18 months since the end of the 2012 games. Prince Harry announced last month that the UK will host the Invictus Games in September, a Paralympic-type sports competition for former servicemen and women inspired by the Warrior Games in the U.S. More than 300 wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women from 13 countries will compete in London in the games.
