Hi, my name is Paula and I am the course writer and presenter of The Excel Club. In this video I will show you how to use power pivot to do something pivot tables can not do. Create sets based on column items.

Have you ever tried to remove columns or even rows from a pivot table but the filter option is just not working for you. If you run your data through Power Pivot, you can use the Create sets based on column items to select the columns shown in the Pivot tables.

Power Pivot is a FREE MS application available in Excel 2010.
