Where’s CII, FICCI etc. Stand up and support Sahara Chief Subrata Roy.
Industry bodies like CII, FICCI, ASSOCHAM etc must back Sahara Chief. The disconcerted efforts in which the Government machinery is working right now has further fuelled pessimism amongst the industry captains. It is only pertinent now that these industry bodies must stand up to its members and speak up for the treatment that is being meted out.
While there is no denying that neither Sahara nor the industry wants any concession or compassion with investigations, but free and fair investigation and trial must be espoused and advocated. Sahara chief has always stood by those in needs and created a lot of value for investors, its employees and people at large. It would be wrong to label him or treat him the way defaulters and criminals are being treated. Rs 10,000 cr. to secure a bail is immensely unfair.
