Germany is dependent on natural gas delivered through pipelines from Russia. If Germany wants to free itself from that dependency, it could convert to liquid natural gas, or LNG. The LNG could be carried here on large sea-going vessels from the US or Saudi Arabia. But are Germany's seaports equipped to take delivery of LNG?
