FRANCE: CABINET RESHUFFLE SELFIES
As rumours were rife that the French Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault was about to resign, some of his cabinet couldn’t resist the temptation to immortalize their time at Matignon. Overseas advisor to the former head of government Stéphane Grauvogel, for example went round his colleagues' offices taking selfies before they bid goodbye…
The pics were initially published on Grauvogel`s Twitter page but he has since protected his account. The selfies are still available on Jean-Marc Ayrault`s now former advisor's Instagram page however. We see him alongside other grinning members of his team just a few hours before the announcement Manuel Valls was to succeed their old boss…
Somewhat surprising behaviour that brings to mind Jean-Marc Ayrault`s penchant for selfies. Indeed as the shots shared on his Twitter page over the past few months will attest the former PM had become rather partial to these self-portrait photographs.
But will the new head of government also partake in this social media phenomenon. It`s doesn't seem too likely as Manuel Valls hasn`t used his Twitter account since May 7th 2012.
