On the inhabited Island of Santa Cruz, I met Giant Tortoises, for whom the Galapagos are named;
a clip from “Gringo in the Galapagos”, the free Intrepid Berkeley Explorer video featuring Ecuador’s Highlands, the Jungle, and then out to the Galapagos Islands for personal visits with animals of all kinds that are not scared of humans.

It was an unbelievable experience to get so close to sea lions, blue-footed boobies, iguanas, giant tortoises, and the other Galapagos wildlife.
