"For 15-year-old Leilani Molina coming home to find her house burglarized was scary enough, but tyring to find Tequila, her six and a half year old
poodle proved heartbreaking." [KABC]
A Los Angeles Police spokesperson commented ‘Some callous person broke in through a window and ransacked the home. It was bad enough to take this family’s computer, but to take their precious pet; it’s really maddening.’
The Molina family is left devastated after their pet was stolen. Mike and Jessica along with their 10 year-old son and 15-year-old daughter just want the dog back.
Although police certainly want to find the suspect and the stolen goods, right now, their main focus in reuniting the family with Tequila. Detectives suspect the pooch may have been given as a present to someone who doesn’t realize the dog was illegally removed from a loving home.
Police are taking a ‘no questions asked’ approach to anyone who turns in Tequila. The Molinas have posted missing fliers around their neighborhood and are offering a reward for the dog’s safe return.
