Ukraine and Russia go head to head at the United Nations over Crimea's recent annexation to Russia.

"We consider all these acts to be illegitimate and we call upon the entire civilized world not to recognize the illegitimately declared independence of Crimea and its violent dismembering from the territory from our country."
Russian Ambassador the United Nations, Vitaly Churkin, thought otherwise.

"Yesterday, an actual historic event took place, the reunification of Russian Crimea, something which our peoples have awaited for six decades now."
Despite the threat of further sanctions from the U.S. and the EU, Russian lawmakers plan to ratify a treaty making Ukraine'
