New amateur video shows a group of nuns saying goodbye to their Jihadist captors after three months in captivity.
The rebels released the nuns Sunday from a location said to be in the Christian town of Maaloula north of Damascus.
The nuns appeared relieved and even jovial at times, yet some showed faces of exhaustion.
Reuters cannot independently verify the video, which was posted on a social media website.
Meanwhile, the nuns arrived Monday afternoon at an orphanage in Damascus.
(SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) UNIDENTIFIED RELEASED NUN, SAYING:
"I want to tell my family that we are fine. We've missed seeing you. We've missed seeing you."
The Syrian Greek Orthodox Bishop said the nuns underwent health evaluations as soon as they arrived.
