It’s comforting to know that there are many selfless people out there who are willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. In one example, a man in Los Angeles helped save two abandoned toddlers.

Luis Rodriguez had been driving his truck in south L.A. when he unexpectedly broke down. Rodriguez pulled over in the parking lot of a liquor store due to the vehicular trouble, but the problems with the truck soon fell from his mind.

He spotted a young child who was riding his tricycle towards traffic. Rodriguez immediately ran to the three-year-old boy and rescued him. He then found a 1-year-old boy on a nearby sidewalk and helped him as well.
Authorities believe that child is the 3-year-old's little brother.

Another Good Samaritan, Markeisha Hall helped clean up the boys. The children were placed into the custody of the Department of Children and Family Services. Investigators are currently searching for the parents of the toddlers.
