A fifth Shrek film could be developed, according to DreamWorks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg. The most recent film in the franchise, Shrek Forever After, was released in 2010 and grossed 752.6 million dollars worldwide. Altogether, the Shrek franchise has grossed 2.9 billion worldwide.
