Russia has accused western powers of siding with “terrorists” in Ukraine. In a statement on February 24, Moscow also denounced discrimination of ethnic Russians. Ukraine’s acting administration announced on the same day that authorities were seeking the arrest of the ousted president, Viktor Yanukovych, on charges relating to the killing of protesters.
