Five children in California have shown ‘polio-like’ symptoms as they developed paralysis in their limbs. While the kids have been vaccinated against polio, doctors are still concerned with the severity of their symptoms which are not reacting to treatment.

They showed muscle weakness and have lost their motor functions. Doctors are now asking other health care professionals to be on the lookout for these symptoms. To continue to protect the country from polio, parents must continue to get their kids vaccinated against the disease.
