Everything about this show was a delight including the location--the ballroom of the Indian Consulate, formerly home to Lady Astor, survivor of the Titanic. Kirat Anand's collection, displayed in a moving presentation of 25 models, amazed the audience with its focus on luxury detailing in contemporary, wearable and attainable price points. The collection consisted of a varied selection of daytime, evening and resort pieces with stunning attention to detailing that included leather cutwork, hand applique and embroidered organza. The assortment was crafted around a base of black and hues of grey with accents in jewel tones. Fabrications included Fall favorites such as, leather, fur, silk, cashmere, wool, tweed, cotton silks, suede and ponte. This collection was amazing, and we can't wait for it to hit stores.
