Two Australian men have been sentenced to jail for their roles in tattooing a giant penis onto a man's back without his consent.
Matthew Brady, 24, was hanging out with his friend, Christopher Lord, 23, at Brady's home in Ipswich, Queensland, on October 18, 2010. At around 10:30 that morning, another man, the victim, joined them.
According to reports, Brady accused the victim of raping a girl, which he denied. Then Lord delivered a punch to his groin.
Then, for reasons unknown, the victim, who is on disability, stuck around for more abuse. The three men drank some rum and Brady and Lord convinced the victim to let Brady give him a home tattoo. He eventually agreed to the idea, telling Brady he wanted a yin yang symbol with a dragon and a tiger etched onto his back.
The bullies led the victim into a bedroom where Brady proceeded to ink a 16-inch drawing of penis, including an uneven pair of testicles, into his skin. He finished off his masterpiece with the phrase 'I luv cock' under the poorly sketched image.
Brady told Lord to cover up the tattoo, then they punched him again and threw him out. The victim then showed the friend the image and it was then that he learned of his so-called friends' prank.
Brady was sentenced to 12 months in prison, suspended after three months, and three years probation. For his part, Lord was sentenced to 12 months prison, with a parole release in March.
The victim received a new tattoo to cover up the old one from Ultimate Image Tattooing in Ipswich.
