Law enforcement officials in Cedar Rapids, Iowa were alerted of the sighting at a little before 9 in the evening after a snowplow driver witnessed the motionless body.

Police authorities arrived at the Oak Hill Cemetery and had the body removed. Little information was released regarding the deceased. The gender and estimated age are currently unknown.

Police are referring to the case as an unattended death. An investigation has been launched to determine the identity of the victim and the circumstances around the death, but right now it’s suspected the bitterly cold temperatures played a role.
