Doctors at Fortis Hospital Mulund had a panel discussion in association with the Heartless Team - Shekhar Suman, Adhyayan Suman and Ariana Ayam, as they discussed 'Anesthesia Awareness', a rare condition on which the film is based. Says Shekhar, "Imagine going through a surgery wide awake but unable to tell anyone that the scapel just cutting through your skin HURTS because you're supposed to be unconscious/anesthesed but you are actually just bodily paralysed from outside and conscious from within. Heartless, the movie is based on the never seen in films before phenomenon of anesthesia awareness. While the film is fiction the phenomenon unbelievable as it sounds, is absolutely real. To throw some light on the actual facts and causes of this little known phenomenon the team of heartless - Adhyayan Suman, Ariana Ayam and me will be holding a panel discussion with a team of anesthesiologists at Fortis hospital, Mulund.
