Obama works on last minute touches to State of the Union address

Washington D.C. is gearing up for a big night Tuesday as President Obama is set to deliver his State of the Union Address.

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney says the President is working on last minute touches, but he did not give specifics as to what the speech would entail.

SOUNDBITE: WHITE HOUSE PRESS SECRETARY JAY CARNEY, SAYING:

"I think that it's fair to say an address like this covers a lot of territory, as it always has in the past."

Carney says the President will lay out his agenda for the coming year including how to expand economic opportunities to all Americans.

Republicans will give their response after the speech, but some are already speaking out.
