Although a prolific songwriter and occasional bandleader, surprisingly little is known about Mark Fisher (1895-1948). He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Many of his compositions were joint ventures with Joe Goodwin and Larry Shay (see Shay, Fisher, and Goodwin). Another collaborator was Joe Burke. His most important compositions are "Oh How I Miss You Tonight", "Everywhere You Go". His other popular-song compositions include "When You're Smiling", "Dear One", "Who Wants a Bad Little Boy", "Don't Forget to Remember", "Take Me Back to the Garden of Roses", "You're Too Much", and "Heart-Breaker".He died in Long Lake or Ingleside, Illinois. This outstanding record was made in 1933. Vocal by Mark Fisher himself.
