The Chicom CQB Sub Machine Gun is a curious weapon as it is a burst fire sub machine gun (which we haven't seen before in Call of Duty). It seems counter intuitive to make a sub machine gun burst fire but I found that it wasn't bad to use at all. Off course I will recommend the select fire attachment (click here for why) but firing the Chicom CQB at long range is better when you burst fire. This guide explains how to use the Chicom CQB well and what the best class setup for it is.
Automatic fire is better than burst fire because with automatic fire you can burst fire if necessary, but with burst fire you can't auto fire when required. So auto fire is better than burst fire. The Chicom CQB is very good at hip firing. So i recommend you maneuver the map so that you are always close in engagements and then hip fire to get the kill. However, the Chicom CQB doesn't have much recoil when you burst fire so it is also capable at long range, but isn't as good as assault rifles at long range.
When you are hip firing strafing is very important as it helps you evade enemy fire. As soon as you see an enemy start strafing left and right as well as shoot. It is difficult to keep your aim right whilst walking, but some practice (in combat training of necessary) will go a long way. When you are taking on an enemy at long range I still recommend you strafe but aim down the sights and burst fire.
The class setup I recommend is the following:
Lightweight will help with strafing as well as getting close to the enemy faster to hip fire. You flinch even if you are hip firing which will cause you to loose gunfights where the enemy is shooting back. Toughness educes that flinch and thus helps win gunfights. Concussion and Flash Grenades and Shock Charges are very powerful in Call of Duty Black Ops 2, Tactical Mask lets you ignore those and shoot surprised enemies that assume you can't fight back.
Since you have to use a wild card to have 3 attachments you have to give up one of tactical grenades, lethal grenade or the secondary. I recommend giving up your tactical equipment slot since Semtex are good for defending objectives and with sub machine guns with a high fire rate, such as the Chicom CQB, you tend to run out of ammunition in your magazine and switching to a pistol secondary is faster than reloading.
Select fire was already discussed. Since you are going to be hip firing all of the time using the Laser Sight increases your hip fire accuracy and thus helps with every kill. Rapid fire makes sure you are even more powerful in close quarters engagements and doesn't introduce too much recoil to burst firing.
