Despite Walmart’s advertised return policy, a man in Laurel, Maryland flew off the handle after being denied a refund. 41-year-old Shahzad M. Iqbal has been accused of pointing a CO2 powered BB gun at an employee in his local store.

Although the gun typically isn’t considered lethal, it bore the resemblance of a machine gun, so at the time of the incident, the worker was certainly scared.

The incident occurred on a recent Monday night. Iqbal walked up to the customer service counter, asking to return a used electronic tablet device. However when he couldn’t produce a receipt, proving he paid for the item, the store staffer denied his request.

He then removed a pair of headphones from his head and demanded his money back on those. Again it was the same response; no receipt, no cash back.

Iqbal was irate. He allegedly placed his backpack on the counter and produced the maachine gun. He pointed it at the worker and demanded money.

The female screamed, causing the suspect to run out the door.

He was eventually arrested and charged with ‘attempted robbery and attempted first-degree assault’.
