Transcript:

Several years before the events at Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, Batman is just breaking into the business of crime fighting and has already piqued the interest of Black Mask, one of the most powerful crime lords in Gotham, who, in the villian popularity contest, wipes the floor with some other guy nobody's ever heard of.


Black Mask places a fifty million dollar bounty on Batman's head, attracting 8 deadly and somewhat obscure assassins: Killer Croc, Deadshot, Deathstroke, Bane, Shiva, Firefly, Copperhead, and Electrocutioner.


Batman’s only ally is his butler Alfred, who’s totally against Bruce’s masked vigilante lifestyle, leading to an awkward “you’re not my real dad” angst-y backtalk when he suggests that Batman eat something or try to make friends, especially with Captain James Gordon. Gordon, on the other hand, is at odds with Batman because of his blatant disregard for the law, not to mention all the ultra-deadly assassins his bounty has lured to pristine Gotham City.


Now it’s up to Batman to defeat crime lords and assassins, make new friends, convince Gotham he’s the hero it deserves, and be home in time to open presents.
