A car bomb is reported to have exploded in the Lebanese town of Hermel near to offices of the Shia militant group, Hezbollah.
According to reports from local media at least three people have been killed and several wounded in the blast.
Hermel is in the north of Lebanon, right on the Syrian border.
Lebanon has suffered a spate of bombings in recent weeks. In the last, a fortnight ago, a car bomb killed five people and injured 60 when it smashed the front off a block of flats in a southern suburb of Beirut.
The attacks appear to be targeting Hezbollah, in retaliation for its heavy involvement, fighting alongside government forces, in neighbouring Syria.
