Lawyers and supporters linked to the Basque separatist organisation ETA have been arrested in Spain.

The organisation is under renewed pressure to disband and a planned demonstration on Saturday in support of ETA prisoners has also been banned.

Instead, an alternative rally in favour of human rights and peace will be held.
