Thus far it has been learned that the deceased was a male from Sri Lanka.

It has also been determined that he was neither a guest nor an employee of the luxury getaway, but the cause of his demise or how he ended up at the resort remain unknown.

David, Victoria and their 4 children stayed on at the One and Only Reethi Rah resort despite the incident, even though their vacationing luck there has historically been interrupted by problems.

On the day the body was found, there was another incident involving the noisy explosion of several fireworks that were intended for a New Year’s celebration.

Last year when the Beckham’s stayed at the same venue their island fun was interrupted by nonstop rain.

While they seemed to take it all in stride, it’s unclear how the other guests reacted to the most recent drama.
